Wisconsin Democrats on the Investiture of Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz

MADISON, Wis. — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement on the investiture of Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz to the Wisconsin Supreme Court:

“This April, Wisconsinites voted by a double-digit margin for a Justice and a Supreme Court that would put people above special interests and give everyone a fair shake, and when Janet Protasiewicz takes her seat today, that’s exactly what we’ll have. Wisconsin Democrats from across the state were proud to support Justice-elect Protasiewicz’s campaign for a Wisconsin Supreme Court that follows our law and our Constitution, not the political agenda of MAGA mega-donors. This is a single seat for a Justice, and a giant leap for justice in Wisconsin.”
