WisDems Launch Vote ‘NO’ Digital Empowerment Program
MADISON, Wis. — Today, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin continued to scale up its Vote ‘NO’ digital organizing efforts, launching a new website and toolkit to help Wisconsinites organize against the risky and misleading constitutional amendments appearing on the August 13 primary ballot.
Starting today, Wisconsinites can visit www.voteno-wi.com to learn more about why the two GOP-backed constitutional amendment ballot questions are wrong for Wisconsin.
“Republicans in the Legislature are pushing risky and misleading constitutional amendments in the hopes of tricking voters into eliminating even more checks and balances in our state and giving themselves sole authority over how critical federal funding gets spent,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund. “Wisconsin Democrats are organizing against this extreme Republican attempt to create more gridlock in Madison. From delaying federal emergency funds to threatening funding for key programs like Medicaid and federal highway funding, these extreme Republican amendments are all wrong for Wisconsin.”
