WisDems Launch People v. Musk Billboards Statewide

MADISON, Wis. — Today, Wisconsin Democrats launched the latest phase of its People v. Musk campaign with the deployment of billboards statewide calling out Elon Musk’s ongoing attempt to buy Brad Schimel a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Already, Musk-funded groups have poured in more than $8 million to bankroll Brad Schimel’s campaign. Starting today through election day, billboards will be up in Green Bay, La Crosse, Milwaukee, and Madison.

Two variations of the billboards now up across Wisconsin.

Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement:

“Elon Musk’s attempt to buy a Supreme Court seat for bought-and-paid-for Brad Schimel is backfiring. Wisconsin Democrats are taking the fight against Elon Musk to the streets—literally—with a new statewide billboard campaign calling out the millions of dollars Musk is dumping into Wisconsin to help Brad Schimel. With these billboards, Wisconsinites will see loud and clear how a vote for Brad Schimel is a vote for Elon Musk and the extreme Musk-Trump agenda to gut reproductive freedoms, attack health care, and undermine our democracy. 

Judge Susan Crawford’s victory on April 1 will be a triumph of common sense and a repudiation of the MAGA extremism and corruption that Musk, Trump, and Schimel seek to inflict on our state.”
