WisDems Launch “Hovde for California” to Kick Off California Bank Owner Eric Hovde’s Entrance into Wisconsin Senate Race
MADISON, Wis. — Today, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin launched “Hovde for California” to kick off California bank owner Eric Hovde’s (R–Laguna Beach) entry into the Wisconsin Senate race.
To highlight Hovde’s ties to California, Wisconsin Democrats are launching a website and Twitter/X account calling out Hovde for owning a $2.8 billion California bank, which he admits is his ‘main business,’ for living in a $7 million luxury mansion in one of Laguna Beach, California’s most ritzy gated communities, and for being named one of Orange County’s most influential people three years in a row.
“A megamillionaire who owns a $2.8 billion California bank and a $7 million Laguna Beach mansion in a gated community with private yacht parking isn’t someone Wisconsinites can trust to fight for Wisconsin values,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk.
You can keep up to date with California bank owner Eric Hovde’s lavish Laguna Beach lifestyle and his self-serving agenda to pass a national abortion ban, gut Social Security and Medicare, repeal the Affordable Care Act, and cut taxes for rich people like himself while raising taxes on middle-class Wisconsin families HERE.
And be sure to show Eric Hovde some “California Love” on social media by following Hovde for California @HovdeForCA on X.
