Wisconsin Democrats Look Forward on DNC’s Final Night

MADISON, Wis. — On the last night of the DNC following a speech by Vice President Kamala Harris, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler issued the following statement: 

“In Wisconsin our motto is Forward—and as we heard from Tammy Baldwin on stage tonight, that’s exactly the direction Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz are taking us. Vice President Harris will move this country forward towards a future where everyone has a chance to get ahead, and where we expand our freedoms rather than roll them back. History was made in Chicago tonight. Tomorrow, our delegation returns to Wisconsin, where we roll up our sleeves and dig back into the work with joy and determination. Wisconsin Democrats are hoarse from cheering, running on adrenaline after a week of late nights at the convention, and yet more energized than ever to move America forward with a victory for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and Tammy Baldwin this November.”
