Senators Baldwin, Warnock, and Warren Share Enthusiasm for Harris-Walz Ticket at Final Wisconsin Delegation Breakfast
MADISON, Wis. — This morning, Senators Tammy Baldwin, Raphael Warnock, Elizabeth Warren, and other Democratic leaders stopped by the final Wisconsin delegation breakfast to share their optimism for the upcoming election and highlight the work that Wisconsinites need to do to win in November. They each drew a deep contrast with Donald Trump, who is pushing an extreme, deeply unpopular agenda aimed at enriching the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.
This election is a fight for the future, and Wisconsin Democrats are working tirelessly to get Vice President Harris and Governor Walz elected. With Wisconsin once again at the center of the political universe, Democrats from across the country are organizing to help elect the Harris-Walz ticket. A Harris-Walz Administration will lead America to a more hopeful and brighter era for the country.
Watch their full remarks here, and see what they had to say, in part, below:
Senator Tammy Baldwin: “As California Attorney General, Kamala Harris was the top prosecutor for the largest state in the nation, standing up for the rule of law and taking on perpetrators of all kinds. Which is exactly the kind of experience we need at a moment like this!”
Senator Elizabeth Warren: “When you get ready to knock on doors, when you get ready to talk to people in parking lots, you be proud as a Democrat to talk about what we got done. […] Look, we know what we want to do as a country, and we know Democrats can get it done. […] This is the moment for Democrats. I am proud to be a Democrat, and I am proud to stand up and fight for Democratic principles. […] Wisconsin, America is counting on you!”
Senator Raphael Warnock: “We’re going to win this moral moment in America. We’re not going to give into the forces of hate and bigotry and division. And we’re not going to give into despair. We’ve been through a lot together over the last few years […] and that’s why we need leaders who will remind us that we are tied together, that we are not each other’s adversaries. Demagogues like to exploit these kinds of moments and […] that’s why we got to make sure Donald Trump and his disciples get nowhere near the Oval Office.”
