MADISON, Wis. — Today, trick or treaters stopped by Eric Hovde’s to drop off the Farm Bill, so he can finally read the legislation crucial to so many farmers and rural communities across Wisconsin. After Hovde ran scared in the debate and admitted he had no clue what went into the Farm Bill, these farm animals decided it’s time Eric Hovde faced his fears and read the legislation.
All jokes aside, Eric Hovde has a plan for Wisconsinites that is all tricks and no treats. The Hovde Plan is a set of terrifying policies that would roll back Wisconsinites’ fundamental freedoms, raise costs on working families, slash Social Security and Medicare, and repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety, all while giving $4 trillion in tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
