A Month Later, Hovde Still Silent on Which Countries Fill His Bank With Millions
MADISON, Wis. — It’s been one month since Eric Hovde’s $3.2 billion California bank revealed that they are still accepting deposits from foreign banks and governments, yet Hovde still won’t answer which foreign countries are filling his bank with deposits.
Last month, a news report uncovered that Hovde’s bank has been accepting millions of dollars in deposits from foreign entities since 2017, which they confirmed last month they are still doing.
Between April and June 2024, Hovde’s bank had $3,436,000 in deposits from foreign entities.

At the same time, Hovde has been hiding from Wisconsin voters, refusing to reveal where these deposits are from, how much he’s actually worth, and how he stands to profit from owning his $3.2 billion California bank if he becomes a U.S. Senator.
