As Wisconsin ranks dead last in the nation in short-term job growth, presidential candidate Scott Walker is kicking off the most important week of his presidential campaign to date with a trip tonight to address Connecticut Republicans at a high-dollar fundraiser.
Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate:
“It is incredibly disappointing, but not in the least bit surprising, to see Scott Walker so blatantly pursue his next job just days after we learned that more than twenty thousand Wisconsinites lost their jobs in April. Worst-in-the-Midwest job loss, a floundering flagship agency plagued by scandal, deliberations over the state budget, and where’s Walker? On the road, again.”
