ICYMI: WALKERNOMICS: It's NOT Working; "One in five state business leaders eyes layoffs in next 6 months, survey says"

Nov 27, 2012

According to a survey by the right-leaning Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce group, the corporate group which Scott Walker addresses today, “Twenty percent (of state businesses) said they plan layoffs in the first half of 2013, the highest since June 2009” and “Only 4 percent of CEOs said they expect “good growth” in their company in the next six months.”

“While the rest of the region and nation enjoys job gains, Wisconsin is badly under-performing in job creation. While other states are investing in education and infrastructure, Wisconsin is going the opposite direction. “Walkernomics” is NOT working and has not resulted in job growth — in fact, it looks like quite the opposite,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Wednesday.
