Seventh Congressional District Candidate Pat Kreitlow Named to Red-to-Blue Program

Apr 24, 2012

Pat Kreitlow, candidate for the 7th Congressional District, was named to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s competitive Red-to-Blue program, which identifies the nation’s highest priority races for Democrats seeking to recapture control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

To gain this designation, Kreitlow had to meet demanding fundraising, organizing and infrastructure goals as well as prove to voters he is a viable candidate who can take on and beat the Republican incumbent currently in office.

Kreitlow will face off against Rep. Sean Duffy.

Also named to the Red-to-Blue program is 8th Congressional District Jamie Wall who faces Rep. Reid Ribble.

“Pat Kreitlow will fight for the values held by Wisconsin’s middle-class, working families when he is elected in November,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate on Wednesday. “He’s a proven leader who will stand up to special interests in Washington. Wisconsin voters can feel confident they will be best represented by Kreitlow.”
