Emerge Wisconsin, an organization that provides Democratic women with in-depth campaign training, last week graduated its sixth class of women ready to run for office. Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate today congratulated the new graduates on their hard work over the past six months.
“With Scott Walker’s constant attacks on the women of this state, it’s more important now than ever that women take the steps to run for public office at every level of government,” said Tate. “And Emerge provides these future candidates with the rigorous training, expertise and insight to win these elections.”
