MADISON — Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate mourning the death of Jean Lucey, the wife of Gov. Patrick Lucey.
“Jean Lucey was an outspoken, witty and and, above all, effective voice for her husband and our great Party. She enjoyed great victories and weathered bitter defeats, but always maintained a sense of humor and pluck that served her well. It is with sadness that we learn of her passing.”
