MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate upon the observance of Veterans Day 2011.
“Today, everyone who sits under the protection of the Stars and Stripes should pause to reflect and thank our nation’s armed forces, past and present, and the families who helped them bear their service. Our observance happens in another year when American troops are still in harm’s way, so we are especially aware of and grateful for the sacrifices made by these brave men and women.”
