MADISON-Following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate in response to “Struggling” Sean Duffy’s refusal to comment on Paul Ryan’s brazen attempts to shore up his tumbling political fortunes.
“Failure Congressman Sean Duffy, who struggles to get by on $174,000 a year and who has voted to end Medicare, has never met a camera, a mirror or a microphone he didn’t adore. It is stunning then that Duffy remains silent as his hero Paul Ryan tries to gerry-mander the 7th Congressional District especially for him. Congressman Duffy should denounce this map and demand fair representation for central and northern Wisconsin families because let’s face it, it doesn’t matter how big an axe you take to the District, it doesn’t change Duffy’s toxic vote to axe Medicare.”
