BARABOO – A recent Associated Press article revealed the calculated, partisan nature of the extreme agenda forced through the Wisconsin legislature without proper public notice or oversight before recall elections can take place.
The article begins, “Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker and GOP leaders have launched a push to ram several years’ worth of conservative agenda items through the Legislature this spring before recall elections threaten to end the party’s control of state government.”
14th state Senate District candidate Fred Clark released the following statement on the recent Associated Press story:
“The people of Wisconsin’s 14th state Senate District deserve a representative who will stand up to Governor Walker and not just rubber stamp his radical, partisan agenda. The future of Wisconsin’s middle class families and public schools are under attack. I will continue to stand up to Republican AND Democratic party bosses to fight for the people of rural Wisconsin. We cannot allow Senator Olsen to continue to rollover to the special interests in Madison. The stakes are too high to allow that to happen, the 14th needs new leadership now.”
