MADISON – The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports today on new criminal probes into Scott Walker’s cronies in Milwaukee County.
One of the probes reportedly involves Republican operative Darlene Wink, a GOP official who acknowledged promoting Walker on the taxpayers’ dime as a county employee, and who may have illegally been operating a pro-Scott Walker Web site from county offices.
Walker has refused to answer questions about Wink and the political work done on county time on his behalf.
This follows a pattern of stonewalling by Walker that most recently included his refusal to turn over a report to the county auditor probing the deplorable conditions at Walker’s mental health complex.
