DPW Chair Tate Statement on
Scott Walker’s State of the County Address
MADISON – Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate released the following statement today in response to Scott Walker’s State of the County address this morning.
“If Scott Walker had any intention of being truthful today, he would have declared that the ‘State of the County’ is ‘back-broken’ under his watch.
“From management that fails to detect abuse and deliver basic services to families, to a bus system that’s set records for spiraling costs even while cutting routes, to a reckless program of privatization that has left trash in county hallways and horrors in its bathrooms, Walker certainly has created a legacy for himself. Just not one that he wanted to talk about in his political speech today. We cant afford Scott Walker’s incompetent record of negligence in the governor’s office.”
