ICYMI: Attorney General Josh Kaul Touts Success of Speak Up, Speak Out Tip Line
MADISON, Wis. – Attorney General Josh Kaul this week shared stories of the success and importance of the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s school safety initiative as parents are getting ready to send their children back to school.
The Speak Up, Speak Out tip line receives calls from students, parents, and community members about possible threats. School safety professionals then work with schools, and if necessary, local law enforcement to keep kids safe. Speak Up, Speak Out has helped stop hundreds of potential threats since it was implemented in more than 400 Wisconsin schools starting in September 2020.
