The following is the statement of Democratic Party Chair Martha Laning regarding the Senate and Assembly Democrats’ joint legislative agenda released today:
“Giving every person and every community in our state a fair shot at success and the opportunity to achieve the American Dream is what Wisconsin Democrats stand for. The bold ideas announced by legislative Democrats highlight our shared values and are exactly what our state needs right now.
“Too many families in every city, town, and village are falling behind and struggling to make ends meet. Too many of our roads and bridges are falling into disrepair. Too many of our schools and students are reeling from years of huge funding cuts. And too many Wisconsin business are leaving our state.
