Donald Trump moved closer to his coronation in Cleveland last night, and Wisconsin voters moved closer to an extension of “Ronald and Donald Show” in a town near them.
While many national Republicans have distanced themselves from the presumptive nominee, Senator Johnson continues to wrap himself in Trump’s ultra-conservative cloak. Johnson’s looking forward to Trump’s coronation in Cleveland although his colleagues in the Senate: John McCain, Kelly Ayotte and Mark Kirk have all decided they’re better off hiding from Trump. Meanwhile, Wisconsin Republicans, including Charlie Sykes and Reid Ribble, have all campaigned against Trump. Not Johnson though, he’s a party loyalist committed to backing whoever the nominee is. And when Trump’s the nominee, Johnson’s open to campaigning with “The Donald” if he comes to Wisconsin
